The Kentucky State Fair kicked off Thursday, August 20, at the Kentucky Exposition Center.  Despite the empty parking lots on the outside of the building, the activities were in full swing in the West Wing with the Dairy Goat and Sheep Shows.  Alan Watts reported on the first day kickoff of the fair.
