This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have seen an increase in the people interested in local produce. According to Christian County Horticulture extension agent, Kelly Jackson, impact of the Fairview auction reaches from near Atlanta to as far north as Chicago.

According to Jackson, area produce growers are fortunate to have such a large auction nearby because marketing can be a challenge for growers.

Growers supplying produce to the Fairview Auction attend yearly trainings to ensure the standards of cleanliness and quality are met.
