Fellow county agriculture extension agents from across Kentucky honored Todd County Agriculture Agent Curt Judy for 44 years of service to farmers.
Judy was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award Wednesday night during the opening picnic at the Kentucky Association of County Agriculture Agents meeting at Kentucky Dam State Resort Park. Judy says his work in extension has included three counties.
Judy says he has enjoyed working with farmers during his career in extension.
He says there have been significant changes in agriculture during his career.
Judy says he has enjoyed the variety of work that agriculture extension has provided for him.
Although Judy has been partially retired for nearly five years, he says he plans to formally retire from extension in November.
The Kentucky Association of County Agriculture Agents meeting continues through Friday at Kentucky Dam State Resort Park.
