After two weeks of learning about agriculture and connecting with fellow agriculture agents in Montana, Christian County agent Matt Futtrell has returned home.
Futtrell said the amount of rain which states like Montana receives is vastly different than Kentucky.
Futtrell also explained the difference in raising cattle.
In addition, Futtrell shared a friendly reminder to farmers following recent excessive rainfall.
As the wheat harvest concludes, soybean season begins, and corn crops continue to grow, agriculture agents throughout the area continue to give updates and share warnings to help farmers.
