Christian County took the top spot in wheat production in Kentucky with over six million bushels in 2023, with Logan and Todd finishing second and third.

According to the USDA Christian County farmers produced 6,156,000 bushels of wheat in 2023. Logan County farmers were second with 4,838,000 bushels of wheat and Todd County farmers were third in wheat production with 3,583,000 bushels. Simpson county farmers were fourth with 2,995,000 bushels of wheat and Graves County rounded out the top five wheat producing counties in the state with 2,527,000 bushels of wheat production.
