The Caldwell County Conservation District took time Monday night to honor some outstanding farmers and two supporters of the district.

The conservation district’s annual dinner was held at Northside Baptist Church. The program was conducted by Caldwell County FFA Officer team with Abigail Drennan presenting an honor award to retired agriculture teacher and administrator Frank Brown for his support of district throughout his career.

Daniel Larent noted the accomplishments of Soil Health Hero award winner Andrew Berton who received the award from Trevor Gilkey.
