Nikki Whitacker with the Kentucky Cattleman’s Foundation says farmers had time to prepare for the flooding, but there are several needs for rural residents of eastern Kentucky. She says the needs are for assistance for backyard gardeners, beekeepers, and others that are listed on a special website.
