The Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center has hosted FFA Members since 1937. Each summer chapters come to spend a week at the camp, learning leadership skills and roles within chapters.
On July 18th, the camp held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new activity center. Over the past few years they have made multiple updates to the camp to ensure members have the best experiences possible. Camp Director, Josh Mitcham talks about what some of those updates have been.
Kentucky FFA Executive Secretary, Matt Chaliff dived into the history of the camp and how it first came to life.
The ceremony ended with a remark from the 2024-25 Kentucky FFA President, Trenton Page.
The new activity building will provide an indoor space for classrooms and recreation for students to use while at camp. It is expected to be a 500 day build and construction will start in the fall.
