The 2024 Farm Tour proved to have a great turnout with six wagons being filled. The tour featured three stops in the Hurricane area with the Ladd and Litchfield families. Each stop showcased the true involvement of each person in the family. Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries talks about the first stop with Ricky Ladd and sister Donna Ethridge.
The next stop was all about the CRP program. Gary and Tommy Litchfield decided to put part of their land into the program and tourers got an in depth explanation into all things CRP. Stan Humphries discusses more on the stop.
The tour ended at Deanna and Devan Litchfield’s home where her father, Ricky Ladd talked about his collection of tractors. Deanna also discussed her new adventure and plan for a roadside farm. Humphries talks about the last stop and the lunch that followed.
