The Todd County Extension office held the first Todd County Fair last week. The 4-H and FFA members had the chance to compete for grand champion in the sheep show Thursday night. 4-H Extension Officer, LeeAnn Mccuiston, told us about the preparation that went into the event.
The community showed out to support the event and Todd Central FFA Advisor, Quashawn Quarles talks about how the community was a vital part in putting on the show.
4-H and FFA not only teach the importance of agriculture, but life skills that can be used for the future. Mccuiston speaks on the skills the kids learned during the event and the preparation.
Quarles says, Todd County is centered around agriculture and always will be. He discusses the importance of the future of agriculture and teaching the next generation.
