University Of Kentucky Research and Education Center in Princeton hosted the 2024 Corn, Soybean, and Tobacco Field Day. The event hosted many different speakers who presented their research on a variety of topics ranging from crop concerns to maximizing yields. UK’s Director of Grain and Forage Center of Excellence, Dr. Chad Lee talks more about the day.
The Field Day was not only beneficial to the farmers and agriculture companies who attended but also to the researchers. Dr. Lee explains why the research and feedback is so important for today’s agriculture.
The turnout was encouraging as the numbers were up from last year and the center is getting closer to finishing its updates.

The University of Kentucky will also be hosting a Twilight Tobacco Tour on August 8th at the Murray State University West Farm.
