The Trigg County Country Ham Festival ham show featured 35 entries competing for top honors in both the 4-H and open ham classes.

The ham showed was judged by Broadbent B & B Foods owner Ronnie Drennan, who said the quality of the entries this year was outstanding.

click to download audioAubrey Crawford took first place in the 4-H division, with Janelle Noel earning second, Heidi Hite winning third, Avery Ethridge taking fourth place, and Addeline Chalfin taking fifth. The top five 4-H hams were sold at auction on the WKDZ Renaissance stage later in the afternoon.

In the open division Kali Oakley beat out her grandfather Joe Oakley to take first place, with Joe Oakley taking second, Braxton Oakley earning third place, Gage Mathis placing fourth, and Ivan Boyd earning fifth place honors.
