The residents of Shady Lawn Nursing Center were surprised with the addition of two custom-built raised gardening beds, provided by the Trigg County Conservation District.

Residents were able to plant a variety of vegetables and flowers, thanks to the generous donation of soil by Cadiz ACE Hardware.

Activities Director Becky Reynolds said seeing residents’ excitement over the garden was heartwarming.
