The University of Kentucky will celebrate 100 years of service to the agriculture community at the Research and Education Center in Princeton Thursday, October 16.

Grain and Forage Center of Excellence Director Dr. Chad Lee says the celebration will take place from 4 until 6 pm.

Dr. Lee says now is a great time to celebrate.

He adds Princeton is a hub for row crop research.

University of Kentucky’s Dr. Chad Lee says Princeton is also focused on other agriculture main stays.

He adds the people are part of what makes the Research and Education Center in Princeton special.

Thursday’s ceremony and open house will take place at the UK Research and Education Center in Princeton from 4 until 6, with remarks to begin at 5:00.
