The UK Research and Education Center in Princeton, KY have been working on their rebuilding since the December 2021 tornado that destroyed and damaged most of their facility. We talked with managing director, Dr. Carrie Knott about the progress of the construction and what is still to come.
While the tornado was a devastating event for the center, it gives them a chance to update many of the facilities to modernize the center. Knott tells us what some of those advancements are.
Rebuilding had a slow start with the actual design layout. She tells us about those struggles and how the process involved everyone so each person had a say.
