The employees of Seven Springs Farms in Wallonia, Kentucky, paid their final respect to farm mom and wife Illisa Beavers, who passed way August 23, 2021.
Beavers, who was 40-years-old, was an advocate for lung cancer awareness and testing after she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Beavers was featured on two Travelin the Bluegrass programs in November 2020 to discuss the importance of awareness and testing for lung cancer.
Beavers worked as the ranch manager for Black Hawk Farms in Caldwell County. She was a fitness instructor.
Illisa is survived by her husband, two children, and a host of other family members.
