Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles says he doesn’t think there will be a significant jump in food prices across the state due to changes in buying habits. Quarles says he is hoping the USDA will help monitor prices, with long term plans possibly including the expansion of some Kentucky processors amid a move toward more custom processing.
