A Western Kentucky native returned to the Bluegrass state to pursue her dream of being a beef cattle specialist. We visit with Dr. Katie Vanvalin about how spending summers on her grandfather’s farm in Bowling Green led to her becoming the new University of Kentucky Beef Cattle Specialist at the Research and Education Center in Princeton.
