Tuesday, June 28, The Western Kentucky State Fair hosted the 4-H/FFA Rabbit and Poultry show. Contestants brought in a variety of birds and rabbits to be judged on showmanship and the animal itself. In Rabbits the Top Showman with Grand Champion Doe, Nessie, was Madelyn Bennett. The Reserve Champion in Female Rabbit Show was Sahara Peterson with Snowflake. Grand Champion in Male Rabbit Show was Paige Bennett with Chopper. Reserve Champion in Male Rabbit Show was Sahara Peterson with Hershey. In Poultry, Top Showman was Christopher Sweets. The Grand Champion in Standard Breeds was Gracelyn Clark. Reserve Champion in Standard Breeds was Carson Clark. Grand Champion in Bantam Breeds was Christopher Sweets. Reserve Champion in Bantam Breeds was Katie Blanchard.
