Trigg County FFA Officers came to visit us in the studio to kick off National FFA Week. They talked about their offices, Supervised Agricultural Experiences, and what FFA has done for them. President Anna Sink, started us off with what she and others have gained through joining. 

 

Reporter Jamie Lynn Hestand has an SAE that works with a different side of agriculture, she talks about her two projects and what FFA has done for her.

 

Jacey Holmes serves as the Treasurer and ensures that all the money stays in order. She also trains her own horses to compete in rodeo.

 

Secretary, Arizona Kennedy has grown up in tobacco production, a process that is no longer as common as it used to be. She talks about why she enjoys the work and how it benefits her.

 

Jennie Watts is the chapter Sentinel. She is in charge of preparing the meeting room and greeting members, along with other tasks. Watts speaks on her experience in FFA.

Clayton Litchfield is not only Trigg County FFA Vice President, but also The Purchase Region Reporter. He discusses what this year has been like for the region, while still trying to recover from the effects of Covid-19.

 

Litchfield also talks about his own SAE experience he originally started when he was 10.
