Dr. Parr talked about why they put on the picnic and refers to the Hutson School of Agriculture as, “a big family.”

He also adds what students can expect to find at the picnic and why it is beneficial, especially to new students.

Hutson School of Agriculture’s goal is for students to earn an education and not just a degree. Dr. Parr discusses why it is so important to teach the next generations about agriculture and get them involved early.
